IAt Lutheran Social Services, we focus on each person's unique talents and gifts. We are committed to offering the possibilities of self-determination, inclusion and individualized services for people with disabilities. In NH we work very closely with individuals and their families to find creative solutions for living and working successfully in local communities. In Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, we help to support and improve the lives of people in need every day. The scope of services we provide, includes “getting lives rolling again” at Good News Garage, to community supports for persons with disabilities, foster/residential care and in-home services for children and youth, elder services (including in-home supports), refugee resettlement and international adoption. As a church affiliated organization we are part of the broad spectrum of faith-based groups that are increasingly called upon to share this serious responsibility with government agencies.
